When you upgrade please note that the code basis has been rewritten for WPTools 5. WPTools 6 is based on WPTools 5. We took precautions to make the transition from Version 4 as smooth as possible - but usually you need to make several changes to your code to get an old project work with WPTools 5 or 6.
The distribution license requires: If WPTools is used in a project which is developed by a group of developers, all members of this group must have a WPTools development license (even if only one of the developers works with Delphi/WPTools)!

New concepts found in WPTools Version 5 and 6 include:
storage of character attributes in a special record which is
assigned to the character which uses these particular attributes. This
makes it easy to copy characters and assign new attributes. Other
products use start and end tags to store character attributes with the
danger of inconsistency if a tag 'gets lost'. Since WPTools caches the
attributes, it does not consume a lot memory for them!
paragraph storage in a linked list with sub-elements (children)
- this reflects the document structure of HTML and makes it possible to
support HTML/CSS editing.
inherited attributes - in WPTools paragraph and character attributes
can be added and removed. If an attribute is not defined the 'default'
or 'inherited' value is used instead.
editor can share text or text styles
Please order one of the first 6 items to upgrade Your WPTools 5 license to WPTools 6. If You upgrade the WPTools WPReporter "Bundle", the upgraded license will also include WPReporter.
The current version of WPSpell works with WPTools 4, 5 and 6. There is no need to "upgrade" it. But You can add a new license at a discount price when ordering the WPTools upgrade in the "shopping cart".
The regular price for a single standard/bundle upgrade 5 to 6 is EURO 148,- and EURO 297,- for the single pro/premium upgrade.
If You have the standard edition but want PRO or Premium version please add the standard upgrade to the cart and then either the "STD to PRO" upgrade or the "STD to PREMIUM" item from the Premium order page.
The Items 7 through 9 let You order the PRO version if You have the standard version.
