Wave Repair is a WAV file editor designed to assist in the restoration of audio recorded from vinyl records; in particular the removal of clicks, pops, ticks and crackle. It operates only on 16bit stereo WAV format files sampled at 44.1kHz or 48kHz. Restoration facilities include: broadband noise reduction, decrackling, click detection and repair with realtime preview, interpolation, block replacement, spectral replacement, smoothing, fading, muting, normalisation, equalisation, dynamic range compression.
