Vamos is a Bootmanager to load different operating systems (DOS, Windows, Linux, OS/2,...) from different partitions like the OS/2 Bootmanager does. There are many further features which help to overcome system restrictions or enable installations which are not possible without Vamos.
Vamos is configurable while booting. You can "hide" every partition, each logical drive and even floppy disk drives. Password protection can be chosen for the administrator as well as for every single boot configuration.
Vamos needs no primary partition, the installation program is DOS-based. You can use commands and options of the installation program without installing the bootmanager itself: get a view at the harddisks, move or copy regions of the disk, for example to save your data, and more.
